After students complete their writing assignment, they then need to publish it by choosing to create a comic strip or movie. Video that shows writing made fun and students sharing their digital writing projects. Students can read them aloud on Flipgrid.

Virtual Reality - VRArctic Animal Exploration - We read both fiction and nonfiction texts, including magazines, books, and news articles about penguins and whales, using compare/contrast and KWL charts.
Then using Google Cardboard Glasses I bought and old cell phones, along with Google Expeditions App, students were transformed to a 3D dimension. This technology enhanced the unit of study by plunging students into the water themselves, to view the coral reefs and underwater sea. The Google Cardboard Glasses were also used for our annual Science Parent Event to showcase technology we are learning about in class. |

5th graders are traveling the world. Students in STREAM class are researching different countries and creating World Presentations to showcase their knowledge. Using the green screen special effects, students were able to take selfies and videos in front of their country's landmarks, and place them in their presentations. Kindergarten -3rd Graders are traveling the United States. Through 3D puzzles, map building skills, map development lessons, and SmartBoard interactive games students are learning about the world around them. |

Students needed to research a real location within the United States and create a pamphlet inviting people to come visit their region.

5th Graders read the I survived series books by Lauren Tarshis and with a team, developed a script as if they were the real people in the story. They then were filmed in front a the green screen using an iPad and the Do Ink app. Students were given the iPad to edit themselves and shared with their teacher via Google Drive.
